I wonder if there are some conceptual elements of Raiblocks (now Nano) that would be good to look at and implemented in Tezos.
I admire how nano’s blockchain itself is distributed to all users, keeping only account balances on the main chain and transactions on the user’s chain. Speed and low bandwidth achieved by manual receiving is very interesting. Similar simplifying mechanisms are found in low-tech hardware.
Free transactions are wonderful. Why am I paying to use money if its cost can be built into the process some other way while maintaining defenses against attacks?
I am no coder. I don’t know how compatible with or relevant to Tezos these ideas are. They are just elegant features and designs.
